In 1962 Paul Klein and his son Leo Klein set up the Klein Orgel- Metallpfeifenbau in Kassel.
In 1964 Leo Klein took his master craftsman´s diploma. As Klein Orgel- Metallpfeifenbau`s craftmanship was very successful not only in the region of Kassel, the workshop became soon too small for the expanding make-to-order production.
Consequently, in 1967 Klein Orgel-Metallpfeifenbau moved to Calden (15km north-west of Kassel) into a bigger and better equipped workshop in order to meet custom-made organ metal pipes.
In the last 35 years, the number of employees varied between 9 and 4 incl. apprentices.
In 1986 Paul Klein retired and Leo Klein was the sole manager for serveral years until his son Jens Klein joined him in the management in 1999 which resulted in a new company name:
